Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Blue Me Away!

And, it did just that. I love this colour. Blue Me Away! is the perfect blue shade. It always reminds me of the beach. The formula on this, however, did not "blow me away". No matter how many times I tried, it bubbled EVERY DAMN TIME. And, even with a base coat, it still stained my nails. Not impressed. It wouldn't be worth it if I didn't love this colour so much. Cremes are my absolute favourite as well, and this was opaque in just 2 coats.

I notice my pinkies always look awkward in my photos. It makes me laugh!

Also, just so you all know, I am moving away for school in 3 days (it's 12:01am right now, so yes 3 days!), so I am trying to swatch all of my polishes I own (a nearly impossible task seeing as how I have so. freaking. many!) because I don't know how often I will be able to get good pictures seeing as how I live in a dorm on the sixth floor. I'll try my hardest though! I am beyond excited, and I think it's showing. I can't get to sleep anytime before 2:30am these days! So stressed/nervous/excited/sad/happy at the same time!

That's all for now :) Have an awesome night, fellow bloggers!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Mellow Yellow

Happy evening, all! Tonight I'm late on posting, but I got back from R's late. I have a really summery colour for you guys. I'm trying to get all of my summer colours up before summer is over (which is really soon, boo!).
So tonight I have Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Mellow Yellow. As is with all yellows, this was one streaky, pain in the rear. Eventually it evened out after 3 coats. I wanted to like this colour. I really did.. but I didn't. It was all wrong for my skintone, it was too bright, and I couldn't help but feel disgusted with my nails. They just felt, well, dirty. :( It's still a lovely colour.. just not for me!

This was in the shade. I find it looks better in the shade, but this is not how the colour really is.

Even in this picture, it still doesn't capture how damn bright it really is.

Do any of you fellow bloggers like Mellow Yellow? What about other polishes from the Xtreme Wear line?

Have a great night!

Nicole by OPI - Play Fair

Hey all :),

Tonight I have a very nice, lavender colour to share with you guys. It's from Nicole by OPI (a brand I personally love, despite all the haters out there!). This colour is very sheer, and took about four coats to get a nice opaque colour. Very pretty, and shimmery. I wear it when I need something nice and neutral, but still pretty.

natural light; 4 coats.

shade, no flash; 4 coats.

That's it for tonight :) I'm gone to R's house for the night tomorrow, so I won't get a chance to blog, but I have many more swatches lined up for you guys to see when I return!

Have a great night :)

Dainty Darling Digits Sula Giveaway!

The blog over at Dainty Darling Digits is having a great Sula Giveaway including the Paint & Peel polish (a huge lemming of mine!)

Be sure to check it out here!

LA Colors - Phenomena

Today, as I was outside doing some swatching of so many untried, the darn clouds crept up on my precious sun and hid it away! Darn. However, I did manage to get a few swatches done, for example LA Colors, Phenomena. It's a beautiful creme-y purple. This colour is gorgeous!

Gah, soo nice!

This is 3 coats, without top coat. I find without a top coat it has more of a satin-y finish, but I love it none the less. :)
Much more posts to come in the near future! Maybe no today, but definitely tomorrow :)

Thanks for looking :)

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Pacific Blue.

Another post, comin' right at ya! This here is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, Pacific Blue. I adore this colour. It's not too in your face, but it's not too subtle either. Perfection. I absolutely love the Xtreme Wear polishes. For one, they are very affordable, and two, they have a wide range of colours. The application of them is usually a little thick, but I can deal.

This here is two coats. You can see how it got a little thick, and didn't really even out even after a topcoat. Ahh, oh well. I still love this colour.

Outdoors, natural light.

The only thing I really, really don't like about Xtreme Wear is they don't put the name of the polish on the bottle itself. Instead, I have to head over to the Sally Hansen website and look it up. Annoying for the more lazier people, like myself. :)

Thanks for looking!
